A K-Pop act might join UAAP Season 81 opening according to organizer

Whoever it might be, we just hope for the best!

While we are still confused about MOMOLAND and their subconsciously axed appearance on UAAP Season 81 (this thing wasn’t confirmed just yet – but it’s already the way it seems), K-Pop fans might still get excited about this news, as one of the known K-Pop events organizer, PULP Live World’s Happee Sy, confirmed via a series of tweets that there is indeed, a K-Pop act to take part in UAAP Season 81 opening ceremony on September 8.

According to Sy, their team supports #UAAPSeason81 and they will be sharing some K-Pop love on September 8 in Mall of Asia Arena, where UAAP Season 81 opening will be held. The K-Pop act name isn’t revealed just yet.

With the tickets for UAAP Season 81 now available at SM Tickets, fans can see this K-Pop act for cheap, with prices ranging only from PhP75 up to just PhP400, with Sy noting that “this UAAP will make history by being the cheapest way to see a K-Idol.”

And while this has been the center of some confusion, UAAP Season 81’s host school, National University, has yet to confirm regarding the appearance of MOMOLAND, after all of their previous announcements was deleted, including the ones from SM Malls and SM Tickets.

Whoever the K-Pop act may be, let’s support not only them but also the schools who’ll be competing on the UAAP, too!
