[UPDATE on 2019.04.08] Samsung Philippines confirmed to us that BLACKPINK is not going in Manila, instead, they’ll be in Thailand to perform at the Galaxy A70 & A80 launch, which will happen at around 8PM, Manila time.

Samsung Philippines might bring another high-profile K-Pop act once again on Manila this month, as the South Korean giant is now teasing through its social media channels to catch the phenomenal Korean pop girl group BLACKPINK this April 10, in an event with undisclosed details and location as of this writing.

What we are sure of though, is that Samsung is planning to unveil a new smartphone on that day – the Galaxy A70 and A80, which is specc’d higher than the new Galaxy A50, which was launched last month.

Samsung had previously brought the Korean pop boy group iKON in Manila last February 26 for their Galaxy S10 launch in Cove Manila at Parañaque. The event was attended by guests, members of the media, and selected iKONICs who were chosen by Samsung through a series of raffle and giveaways. -HallyuLife.com
