Red Velvet to headline special cause concert in Manila called “Be You” this July
Along with Filipino acts BINI, BGYO & Lady Pipay, K-pop girl group Red Velvet will headline the concert set for celebration of people with special needs.
[UPDATED] MANILA – Red Velvet might be finally returning to the Philippine shores this July!
As announced on Monday, May 16, IPITI Inc., shared on their official social accounts that the K-pop girl group is set to headline “BE YOU”, which is a concert that aims to celebrate those people with special needs. According to IPITI, it is happening this July 22, 2022, at 7 PM local time at SM Mall of Asia Arena (MOA Arena).

Red Velvet will be joined by Filipino acts BGYO and BINI, which are also boy and girl groups, respectively, as well as Lady Pipay, who is a known vlogger and content creator on YouTube.
(Update) Ticket prices were unveiled on May 20th, with the selling schedule to follow soon.
Other acts mentioned confirmed their participation by retweeting the announcement from their respective social media accounts.
Red Velvet first came to Manila in 2015 at the Best of Best in the Philippines concert at the Philippine Arena, then in 2019 at the K-pop World Music Festival at the MOA Arena. A solo concert was previously rumored in 2020 however that might have been scrapped due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
